Saturday, 9/19, our players did an outstanding job representing both the team and NCHS at their Car Wash fundraiser. Our total profit was $953!!!
The boys worked really hard to do a good job on each and every wash. Coach VK participated and encouraged the boys from start to finish. He made it a point to stress to the boys that their efforts in events like these contribute to the program having ‘nice things’. As important though was Coach making sure the boys understood that each interaction with a customer was an opportunity to cast NCHS in a positive light. Everyone would be proud of the way our boys conducted themselves.
We would like to say a special THANK YOU to all our parents who donated supplies and/or had their car(s) washed. Huge thanks as well to Coach Almy for all of the parent/player coordination communications, and to Board Officers/Player Parents Tracy & Brian Rice, Kim & Jamie Pelham, and Amy Getz who volunteered of their time to work shifts with the boys. We appreciate you!!
